Services

The moultrie offers a wide range of services to our members on all issues, providing the opportunity for opinions, queries and concerns to be raised by the group and actioned by the association, as deemed appropriate.

The moultrie has links with the NSW Business Chamber, Local Councillors, State and Federal Politicians, Business Port Stephens, Industry and Investment NSW (formerly Department of State and Regional Development), Port Stephens Council and many more private enterprise and government bodies, departments and associations who are able to assist our membership database.

Monthly Business Breakfast

The moultrie Monthly Business Breakfast is held on the first Tuesday of every Month, (see Events Calendar). The breakfasts provide a fantastic networking opportunity for all business leaders and is consistently seeing an increase in attendance numbers and productivity at these meetings.

Each Business Breakfast usually features a key note speaker presenting information on a matter affecting association members, a presentation by a local business owner/manager, a report from the committee on association activities and of course, a scrumptious meal for each attendee. There are also sponsorship opportunities available for businesses wanting to further promote their business/services.

Advice

The moultrie and its associated organisations are able to provide advice to members on a range of issues affecting member organisations and individuals. Most importantly, the Association recognises the importance and value of its members and their concerns, and acts to ensure all matters are actioned efficiently and effectively.

The Association is able to actively lobby local and state parliamentary members, government departments, private enterprise and other groups or associations for information and action, in relation to matters affecting the entire association. Through membership of the Hunter Business Chamber and NSW Business Chamber, the moultrie is able to offer a variety of services to all members.

The Association also has a strong network with local business specialists, who are able to provide mentoring and small business advice to members. Through associations with other chambers and agencies, members can also access specialist occupational health and safety, industrial relations and legal advice.
